19th Century Victorian Wooden Darning Mushroom w/ A Needle Case Handle

This wooden darning mushroom is unusual as it has “Another darned hole!” carved on the head. You do not have to be a sewing collector to appreciate this.  It is the perfect gift for anyone on your gift list who sews!

It measures approximately 4 1/4″ long and 2 5/8″ wide.

This came from the estate of an English couple who brought it with them from England.

We have two more plain headed examples in the shop. One has the needle case handle and one does not.
