Antique Cast Iron #50 Locomotive w/ Coal Car & Coupling

This Antique Cast iron #50 LOCOMOTIVE and COAL CAR with the SEPARATE COUPLING comes from a local estate.

Perfect for a collector OR for a child to play with — a “green”, substantial toy from the past

Weighing 2 pounds, the two pieces are about 11 3/4” long from the front of the cow catcher to the back of the coal car, 1 5/8” wide and nearly 3” tall.

The coupling on these usually gets lost over the years so it is great that this set is complete.  I don’t see a maker’s name and believe this to be the original paint which, as shown, has a little wear in places.
