Extremely Fine & Hard To Find -18th c. – Wrought Iron Three Candle Hanging Chandelier
$700.00
We are fortunate to be able to offer TWO of these Extremely Fine & Hard To Find -18th c. – Wrought Iron Three Candle Hanging Chandeliers!
The last one I saw like these (I have only seen two others) sold in PA for $950 (single piece).
Wrought iron chandeliers from the 18th century are one of the rarest and most sought after forms of early lighting – not often available!
For information on the form, see, “Antique Iron”, by Schiffer, and “Fire and Light in the home Pre 1830” by John Caspall.
These were made by an accomplished blacksmith of the period. Don’t miss this opportunity to add a PAIR to your collection.
These are 20″ tall and the three candle holders form a 7.5″ per side equilateral triangle.
We offer a fine selection of Vermont Hand-Dipped Candles AND Hand-Rolled Honeycomb Beeswax Candles that would go nicely with this period piece.
