Painted Candle Holder w/ Porcelain Insert Late 19th century

$85.00

This is a great, late 19th century painted candle holder with porcelain insert.

It measures 5 3/4″ in diameter.  The dish is 1 1/2″ high and 3″ to top of handle.

The insert is removable so it can be used both with or without the insert as one of the pictures shows.

There is wear on the paint which is to be expected due to age and use.

Overall, this candle holder and its insert are in very nice condition.

It is unusual for the insert to have stayed with the candle holder and not be lost.  The other couple examples of this candle holder that I have seen have been missing the porcelain insert!

We offer a fine selection of  Vermont Hand-Dipped Candles AND Hand-Rolled Honeycomb Beeswax Candles that would go nicely with this period piece.

Other Early Lighting selections.
