RARE, Double Wick Whale Oil Lamp Cover & Jar – 19th century

What was originally a more affordable option for the less affluent is now a prized acquisition for any serious collector of Early Lighting.

Not many of these survived.  This is a real beauty.

Jar is 3.25″ tall with a 2.5″ diameter.

I have not unscrewed the top and suggest that before anyone do so, they soak the lamp.
