Once in a great while. a piece of silver will make you smile! This Sheffield Silver, Covered, Divided Serving Dish w/ Handle by the English Lee & Wigfull Company is such a piece! It is beautiful. It is unusually spectacular. Whether you have a Butler or not, you can enjoy elegant dining when this piece is on your table or sideboard.

The divider can be removed depending on how you  use it — one selection or two. The handle unscrews if you wish to use this covered serving piece without its handle.

It measures 12 5/8″ long, 7 1/2″ wide and  1 7/8″ high without the cover or handle.  With the handle and cover it is 13.5″ wide and 6.5 high.

George S. Lee was active in Charlotte Street Works, Sheffield, together with Henry Wigfull. The firm was described as manufacturing Silversmith, Electro Plater and Britannnia Metal Smith. The partnership between George Shadford Lee and Henry Wigfull was dissolved in 1870.

Our basic policy is no consignments!  We are making an exception for a number of Elegant Dining pieces from the collector who also has the pieces offered in the Coined – When Silver & Coins Are Joined category.  These pieces will not be in Shops At Fayrehale – They will remain in the collector’s possession until sold.
