Tin Old Original DOUBLE Match Holder – Early 1900s – Early 20th c. – Raised Design – Remarkable Condition
This tin double match holder from the early 1900s is in phenomenal condition.
Seldom do you see one, surviving over 100 years, in this shape.
A must have for the early lighting collector and would work nicely in a period General Store.
The strike paper (sand) is easily replaced. We would suggest you cut a strip off a match box for modern kitchen matches. They are no longer strike anywhere matches (unfortunately!!!)
This measures 4″ x 5″.
IF a match holder can be called classy, this is the one!
