PAIR Silver Individual Salt Dishes w/ Spoons – 1944 & 1945 George VI King Emperor India One Rupee Coins
$300.00
This pair of Silver Individual Salt Dishes with 1944 & 1945 George VI King Emperor India One Rupee Coins still have their original accompanying salt spoons! The salt spoon bowls are 1898 Victoria British Silver “Widow Head” Sixpences.
It doesn’t get nicer than this and one can only imagine that they were commissioned and used by a member of the British Ruling Class prior to India’s Independence in 1947.
The salt dishes measure 1.75″ in diameter and stand .5″ high. The spoons are 2.5″ long with a .75″ diameter bowl. I see no marks other than those on the coins.
