This Authentic Chinese Clay Tea Pot w/ 4 Cups & Saucers in its Original Fitted Display/Storage Box was brought back from China by a local couple who visited in the 1970s. The 1998 newspaper piece used to protect the saucers is from a later trip.
It was never used for tea, just displayed as a memento from a very memorable trip.
The detailed workmanship is exquisite as are the subtle colors.
The teapot is 4.5″ tall and 7″ wide including spout and handle. The cups are 2″ tall w/ a drinking diameter of 2.125″ and 3″ including handle. The saucers have a 3.75″ diameter. The presentation box is approximately 9.5″ x 7.5″ x 5″.
