This is a RARE opportunity and quite possibly your ONLY opportunity to own a Star Island, Isles of Shoals painting by J. Howard Lightfoot (1918-2009).  Howard was a dedicated Shoaler for over 50 years and was active in the All Star I and Natural History Conferences.

This seascape showcases the rocks and surf on the back of Star Island with Smuttynose Island in the background. Painted in 1962, it is signed twice. His monogram JHL on the front and H. Lightfoot on the back.

The Artist Canvas Board measures 12×16. Framed it is 13 7/8″ x 17 7/8″.
