19th Century Heart Shaped Box w/ Inlaid Mother Of Pearl Decoration

This heart shaped 19th c. paper mache box is the perfect way to say “I Love You” with or without another gift inside!

The black painted japanned surface has a nice patina with a beautiful inlaid Mother of Pearl decoration. It measures approximately 6.5″ long, 6″ wide and 2.75″ high.

This came from the estate of an English couple who brought it with them from England.
