This Magnificent Sterling Silver Asparagus Platter/Server with Sauceboat is perfect for use on your sideboard or dining table. Elegant serving pieces like this are extremely difficult to find. Unfortunately, many were melted down when silver bullion prices were high.
Overall dimensions: Platter 13″ x 11″ x 5/8″ — Sauceboat 6″ long and 2″ high to top of handle. Monogrammed E.J.B. If that is not your monogram, it must be the monogram of the ancestor you inherited this beautiful piece from!
The Platter is marked sterling as shown. The sauceboat carries the same mark w/ J54 for item stock number and the perforated insert is marked “sterling” above the numeral 4.
