Celia Thaxter (1835-1894) was a renown poet and porcelain painter who is, to this day, associated with the Isles of Shoals and Appledore Island.

Bound in green cloth with gold title on front board. There is some spotting on spine and covers. It has the original plain brown paper DJ which as some small tears, some taped, and discoloration on spine and top. Interior is tight and perfect, illustrated with a photo frontis.
