Treen Teapot Trivet c. 1870 – Unusual – Hand Carved

This beautiful treen tea tile is as useful today as it was when hand carved around 1870.

I expect it was made as a gift and it is a perfect gift today for the treen collector or tea lover.

This treen trivet measures 5 1/8″ square and 5/8″ thick.  This is probably yew wood.  “TEA” & “POT” are carved out on 2 corners.
