Antique – Chinese 7″ Bronze Vase – Serpent Handles w/ Floral & Bird Medallions

This beautiful Chinese Bronze vase is just waiting for you to decide whether to use it for display in a collection OR to really use it and fill it with fresh flowers from the garden!

This old Chinese bronze vase stands 7″ high and has a bulbous base and an elongated neck.

It is quite heavy for its size, weighing in a 1.5 pounds.

The body is circled by 9 overlapping round medallions with embossed designs of irises, peonies, lotus, etc.-  including two vignettes of a bird flying through a stand of bamboo. The figural handles are shaped like winged serpents or possibly dragons.
The bottom is unmarked.

This Chinese Bronze vase is in fine antique condition with a nice old patina.
