Double Candle Sconce – 19th Century Tin Tole
$225.00
19th century tin tole double candle sconce with crimped arch top. This sconce measures 10 3/4″ high and 9″ wide with the front curve 3-1/4″ deep.
It has the original paint and stenciling in gold and silver. This is in very good condition. The paint is a bit shiny but old tole was often lacquered.
One picture shows a picture of the sconce with the write-up from the Conestoga Spring 2007 auction.
A great find and marvelous addition to any tin and/or tole collection.
We also have a c.1890 tin, tole decorated, dish push-up candle holder.
We offer a fine selection of Vermont Hand-Dipped Candles AND Hand-Rolled Honeycomb Beeswax Candles that would go nicely with this period piece.
Other Early Lighting selections.
