Sterling Silver Mustard Pot w/ Liner & Spoon – London Silversmith – Earlier 20th Century

It isn’t always large pieces that make dining elegant.  Downton Abbey elegance includes the smallest details like this classic Sterling Silver Mustard Pot w/ Liner and Spoon by a London Silversmith.  If you are not serving mustard, it can be used for a horseradish sauce to go with a nice roast of beef – a roast you might like to serve on this Silver Bain-Marie w/ Pyrex Footed Well and Tree Platter.

This mustard pot is well hallmarked with hallmarks on the side, on the cover and on the spoon.

It has a 2.25″ diameter (3.5″ with handle) and is 3.5″ tall to the top of the finial.  . The hallmarked spoon is 2.5″ long. It retains its original opaque glass liner.

There may still be other mustard pots available.

Our basic policy is no consignments!  We are making an exception for a number of Elegant Dining pieces from the collector who also has the pieces offered in the Coined – When Silver & Coins Are Joined category.  These pieces will not be in Shops At Fayrehale – They will remain in the collector’s possession until sold.
