Tea Pot w/ Silver Plate Cozy – Bauscher Weiden Porcelain – Art Deco – Early 1940s – War Years
This fine Bauscher Weiden Art Deco Porcelain Teapot or Coffee Pot has its original heavily felted silver plated Cozy. The mark indicates that it was made in Bavaria Germany during the war. (Early 1940s)
There is some wear to the silver but it in no way impacts the beauty and usability of this piece. As you can see the felt is heavy and the pieces can be removed for cleaning or to use as patterns should you want to replace them.
It measures 7″ high and 10.75″ from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the handle.
This Bauscher Weiden Porcelain Teapot comes from a Vermont collection of over 2000 pieces that was collected over 65 years. This fabulous piece has been packed away for years.
